Do you have a large dog? Nice. Me, too. Actually, I have three.
I know how much we struggle with cleanliness and hygiene with our dogs. It’s not enough to just throw them into the bath tub every six months to keep them clean. Also- two of my dogs are terrified of baths.
A dog grooming table is a must. But, which one?
There are a lot of them out there, and the Flying Pig grooming table might be the right choice for you, particularly if you have large dogs [50+ lbs].
Here’s why!

What do we want in a grooming table?
Because we have large dogs we’ll need a table that’s rated to hold our heavy pups.
We also want a grooming arm that will hold our dog in place while we clean them and make them look pretty.
The table top should have a non-slip surface.
We want the table to be able to fold away when not in use. Additionally, it should be light enough to move easily.
Since we’ll be using water to groom our dogs the frame should be rust proof.
And, finally, a basket to hold our grooming tools and supplies is a big plus.
Flying Pig Grooming Table Features
The Flying Pig grooming table offers most of the above and more!
-Table very conveniently folds away when not in use. Unfortunately, it’s a bit on the heavier side at 40 lbs.
-The table-top has a non-stick rubber surface so our dogs don’t slide around.
-A very nice feature of this product is the bone shaped table top. This feature gives us the ability to reach around our dog’s midsection while their paws are stable on the widest points of the table.
-Table is stainless steel and the legs are adjustable for different heights.
-Includes a removable grooming arm with noose to keep our dogs in place.
-Includes a removable storage basket.
-Rated to hold up to 330 lbs.
What are users saying?
I am soooo happy I spent a bit more money and got this table. It is very sturdy and all you have to do to set it up is unfold the legs and attach the arm. The basket fits perfectly underneath. No screws no nothing. I got it to start grooming my Poodle who is 17″ at the shoulder and 19 lbs. I chose to get the medium and although he probably would have fit on the small, I prefer having a bit of room. It came wrapped extremely well so no dings or dents. Very pleased.

Should’ve bought this along time ago! A few years sitting on the floor and fighting with the pooches is a thing of the past. I can’t say how much easier this table has been for me to groom. This table is very sturdy and easy to take apart and fold up to put away as it is to put together. It’s fairly lightweight and easy to move. Can’t believe I waited so long to get one!

Verdict
Users love this table and you probably will, too. It comes in three different sizes: 32″L x 21″W, 38″L x 22″W, and 44″L x 24″W.
If you’re looking for a grooming table for a large dog, the Flying Pig grooming table is a really great choice.
The primary drawback, in our opinion, is that it is really heavy. It’s definitely not that portable and you should plan on moving it only from time to time.
